2027 Call for Presentations
WIRMC wouldn't be what it is without YOU sharing your passion and industry experience!
The call for presentations is open!
Monday, 6/22 8AM CST - Friday, 8/28 4PM CST
Submit here!
The conference planning committee will review all submissions and make selections by the end of September, which is when presenters can expect to be notified. Thank you for your time, and we hope to see you in February!
*Submissions that describe or allude to services or products will not be considered. If you have a product or service related to this industry you are welcomed to exhibit at WIRMC 2027. However, that content within our programming agenda is not appropriate.*
We are convening at the Grand Geneva in Lake Geneva, WI for WIRMC 2027. The conference will be held Wednesday, Feb 24 - Friday, February 26th. We are looking for engaging presentations that educate, inspire, and spark discussion among professionals in solid waste and resource management. Presentations will be delivered in person. Every presentation will have a moderator available to provide support to the speakers and help engage attendees during Q&A.
Standard presentations are expected to be 50 minutes, followed by an additional 5-10 minutes for Q&A, and will be delivered on Thursday (2/25) and Friday (2/26). For those preferring to provide a "workshop style" presentation of 1.5 hours+, please note that workshops can only be scheduled on either Wednesday or Friday. If you are open to giving either a standard or workshop style presentation, please indicate that on the form.
Presentation proposals are due no later than August 28, 2026 at 4PM CST. The conference committee will review all submissions and make final selections in September. You will be notified if your submission was selected or not by the end of September.
Please review our Tips for Submitting a Winning Proposal for some best practices to create an engaging presentation.
