We are returning to Green Bay!   WIRMC 2023 (Feb 22-24, 2023 / Hyatt Regency, Green Bay, WI) is specifically looking for engaging and thought provoking presentations that showcase the advancements in resources management, solid waste management, recycling, resource recovery, and composting. Presentations will be delivered in person. Every presentation will have a moderator available to provide support to the speakers and engage attendees.

Presentations are expected to run for 50 minutes, followed by an additional 5-10 minutes for Q&A and discussion for standard presentations on Thursday and Friday. For those interested in providing a "workshop style" presentation of 2 hours+, then please select Wednesday below.

Presentation proposals are due no later than September 12, 2022. The conference committee will be making presentation decisions in early October. You will be notified by late October.

Please review our Tips for Submitting a Winning Proposal for some best practices to create an engaging presentation.

In submitting a proposal, submitters agree to the following:

  1. Identify by name, title, organization and contact information the person(s) that AGREE to present face to face if the proposal is selected.

  2. Meet all deadlines. WIRMC reserves the right to refuse any proposal that does not meet deadlines.

  3. Submit a proposal that is original and offers new insights and solutions.

  4. Present on any day and time between February 22-24, 2023.  The WIRMC Planning Team will try to accommodate schedules, but will not guarantee preferences.

  5. Submit the presentation by February 20, 2023 as a Microsoft PowerPoint—not in a PDF or other format.

  6. Register for WIRMC 2023 if you are interested in attending other sessions or activities during the conference.

  7. Authorize the recording, use, and display of the presentation. Additionally, give permission for use and display of presenter’s headshot for WIRMC conference publicity/marketing purposes.

  8. Permit WIRMC to modify your session description to ensure consistent tone and grammar across all sessions. Presenters will have an opportunity to review and approve revisions.
